Flash Fiction Day 2 – Shadows

June 2, 2016 by Jenn Leave a Comment

short and different from most of my flash fiction.

Facts
Opinions
Perceptions
Truth

Truth does not equal fact
Truth does not equal perception
Perception does not equal option

But that’s not what people will tell you.

Smoke and shadows –
that’s what most people use to try to sway you to their way of thinking.

Smoke and shadows and mirrors are where I live.

There’s a fact for  you.

Here’s another – Shadows grow, smoke expands, and mirrors reflect. All three obscure the facts, obscure, confuse the truth.

All three breed chaos.

It’s like home and each moment that people use smoke and shadow for their own ends opens the door a bit more.

I am coming.
